Our pick for readers of Junior fiction is “Everything, everything,” which is soon to be released as a motion picture. Do you remember the way “The fault in our stars” made you cry? Well this is another romantic tear-jerker. Madeline Whittier is a girl who is allergic to the outside world and Olly is the boy who has moved in next door. Like star-crossed lovers they are bound to be drawn to one another but can Madeline break out of her bubble world and participate more fully in life? This is the heart-crushing question posed by this book.

xthe-amateurs.jpg.pagespeed.ic.1zXhHxgLagOur choice for readers of Senior fiction is “The Amateurs” by Sara Shepard who brought us the very popular series “Pretty little liars.” In a turn of events reminiscent of “The lovely bones,” Aerin’s sister Helen, has disappeared and the mystery has become a cold case. Aerin is determined to solve this mystery and calls on the help of Seneca and Maddy, who carry secrets of their own. Together they form the Amateurs and are joined by another maverick named Brett.
