Holiday Reading on Overdrive

Our college has an excellent collection of e-books and audio books available via our digital library, Overdrive. We have recently added 100 new titles, including more copies of our most popular novels.

To access Overdrive simply click on the Overdrive icon located on the front page of the College Intranet or on our Library wiki. Use your normal school log in as the username and 0000 as the PIN. The advantage of Overdrive is that you can access our digital library collection any time, any place – even while you are on holidays! At this stage, users are restricted to borrowing out only two items at a time for 3 weeks each. As you can see below, available items are shown by a black icon. Items that are already on loan have the icon shaded light grey; however, you can place a hold on them. The Library Staff look forward to seeing how the borrowing statistics for Overdrive increase over the Christmas break. Happy downloading and reading!

Sixteen-year-old Aza never intended to pursue the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Picket, but there’s a hundred thousand dollar reward at stake and her fearless best friend , Daisy, is eager to investigate. Together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Russell Pickett’s son, Davis.

Congratulations to our Book competition winners

Congratulations to the winners of our “Maybe” book competition: Emily Welch (7D), India Ottley (7E), and Nina McKinnon (8E). The answer to the question, “Where did Morris Gleitzman’s grandfather came from?” was Krakow, Poland. For those who missed out, you can still borrow out one of the copies from our Library collection.
